How to use
- 1
Drop the images you want to resize.
- 2

- 3

- 4
Check the new sizes in the list and save.
When the aspect ratio changes
- Fit with padding — the whole photo shows, with empty space around it (white for JPG).
- Fill and crop — fills the frame and trims overflowing edges. Most common for social media.
- Stretch — forces the photo to fit; faces may look squashed.
Popular sizes
| Use | Pixels |
|---|---|
| Instagram square / portrait | 1080×1080 / 1080×1350 |
| YouTube thumbnail | 1280×720 |
| Passport photo 35×45 mm (300 dpi) | 413×531 |
| Blog images | 900–1200 wide |
Enlarging beyond the original adds pixels, not sharpness. For small logos that must go big, try the vectorizer first.
FAQ
Will my photos get distorted?
Percent, width and height modes always keep the original ratio. Only exact-size mode applies padding, cropping or stretching, as you choose.
How are files named?
The new size is appended, like _1080x1080, so you won't mix them up with originals.
How do I size for print in inches?
At 300 dpi, multiply inches by 300. A 4×6 inch print is 1200×1800 pixels.
