Why photos turn sideways after upload
Phones often don't rotate the pixels; they add a note (EXIF orientation) saying “display this rotated”. Apps that ignore it show the photo sideways. This tool rotates the actual pixels, so it looks right everywhere.
When to flip
Front-camera selfies can show text mirrored. A horizontal flip puts it back the right way round.

Does rotating reduce quality?
JPGs are re-saved at 95% quality — visually identical. PNGs are lossless.
Can each photo rotate differently?
Settings apply to the whole list. Group photos by the rotation they need.
Do animated GIFs work?
Only the first frame is saved, as a PNG.
