Privacy policy

In short — there are no accounts here, and the files and text you put into our tools are never sent to a server. To stay free we show ads (Google AdSense) and may use analytics, which can set cookies.

1. Files and text you use in the tools

Every tool runs inside your browser. Files and text you add are not transmitted to or stored on our servers or any third party, and they disappear when you close the tab. A few tools (such as the character counter's optional autosave) can keep your draft in your browser's localStorage on your own device; untick the option or clear site data to remove it.

2. Information we collect

We have no sign-up or login, so we do not directly collect names or contact details. As with most websites, the following may be collected automatically: access logs, browser and device type, approximate location (country/city level), pages visited, and cookie or advertising identifiers. If you email us, we keep your address and message to reply.

3. Why we use it

  • To run and improve the site and fix errors

  • To answer your messages

4. Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.

Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalized ads are used.

5. Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It uses cookies to collect non-identifying usage data. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

6. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. All tools keep working without cookies.

7. Retention

Emails are deleted one year after we reply. Automatically collected data is retained according to each provider's policy (e.g. Google).

8. Sharing and processors

We do not sell or share personal information except where required by law. The site is served through GitHub Pages and Cloudflare, which process access logs to deliver it.

9. Your rights and contact
