Why quality stays the same
Pages are copied as they are, not re-rendered or recompressed. Text stays selectable and searchable, images keep their quality, and the result is roughly the sum of the input sizes.
Safe for sensitive documents
Merging runs in your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library. Nothing is uploaded.
FAQ
How many files can I merge?
No limit, though combined sizes of several hundred MB may slow things down since everything is processed in memory.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
PDFs with an open password can't be read. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first. Such files are marked “encrypted” in the list.
I only need some pages.
Extract them with Split PDF first, then merge here.
