Choosing DPI
| DPI | A4 page size | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 72 | ~595×842px | Previews, chat |
| 150 | ~1240×1754px | Blogs, screens, slides |
| 300 | ~2480×3508px | Print, tiny text |
JPG or PNG?
JPG is smaller for photo-heavy pages; PNG keeps text edges cleaner. When unsure, start with JPG.
Pages are rendered in your browser with Mozilla's PDF.js. Nothing is uploaded.
FAQ
Fonts look different.
If fonts aren't embedded in the PDF, a similar font is substituted. Re-export the PDF with fonts embedded.
Is it slow for long PDFs?
Dozens of pages at 300 DPI take time and memory. Use a page range or 150 DPI for speed.
Password-protected PDFs?
