FAQ

Where is my draft saved?

With autosave on, only in this browser's local storage β€” never on a server. On a shared computer, untick it or click Clear.

How are emoji counted?

Each visible character counts as one, even emoji built from several code points like πŸ‘πŸ».

Why does another site show a different number?

Sites count line breaks differently (one or two characters). Fewer line breaks means less difference.
