How to use

  1. 1

Drop the photos you plan to share.

  2. 2

Any info we find (location, device, time taken) is shown above.

  3. 3

Download the clean copies and share those instead.

Photos carry more than pixels

Phone photos store EXIF data: device model, time taken, lens details — and, with location on, the GPS coordinates of where you took it, accurate to a few meters. Some apps strip this on upload, but email attachments, cloud links and many marketplaces pass the original along.

How we remove it

The tool redraws the photo and saves only the image data as a new file, so every bit of metadata is gone. Orientation is kept as you see it.

To stop recording location: on iPhone, Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Camera → Never; on Android, turn off location tags in camera settings.

FAQ

How do I check it worked?

Drop the cleaned file back in. If it says no camera info was found, it's clean.

Does quality suffer?

With “keep maximum quality” on, JPGs are saved at 98%. PNG is lossless.

Are my photos uploaded to be cleaned?

No — that would defeat the purpose. Everything happens in your browser.
