Count the first day or not?
The classic date-math question. For “days between” or contract periods, the start day usually isn't counted. Some traditions (like Korean couple anniversaries) count the first day as day 1, so the “100th day” is 99 days after. Both options are available.
How month math works
Adding one month to 31 January gives the last day of February, since 31 February doesn't exist — the common convention in contracts. For legal deadlines, check official rules about weekends and holidays.
